Allegiance Interview part 1
Q: You're one of Broadway's youngest stars. What was it like stepping out on the stage for a Broadway audience in 13 ? Did it feel any different when you did Bye Bye Birdie this year?
A: Stepping out onstage in my Broadway debut with 13 was one of the most exhilarating nights of my life! The cast in that show was such a family and taking our final bows one at a time, we were just so excited for each other! And of course, hearing the audience cheering us on was so cool! I was extremely honored to be a part of the cast of Bye Bye Birdie as well. Again, I was fortunate to work with a cast that was such a close family unit. And stepping out onstage for our first preview was just as exhilarating as 13, because everything was new again. I don't think you can replace the excitement and thrill of doing what you love in front of a live audience, surrounded by people who love you. It will never get old!
Allie uploaded a new video to her YouTube titled, "Showtime!!!" Description: Fun video's from Showtime at Disneyland!! (At the very end, Collette is saying "There's a guy" ) There's a long backstory to that sentence.... hahah. Enjoy!! :]

Bye Bye Birdie closed January 24. Allie went home to San Diego for about 3 weeks and she's already back in New York! She's doing a reading for a new musical called Allegiance. Click here for more info and to become a fan on facebook!
According to Allie's formspring, "Allegiance is a new musical about Love, Loss, and Heroism during the Japanese Internments in WW2. I am in a reading for the show, which basically means they gathered up a cast to perform the show for producers that can potentially help the show get to Broadway. Its an amazing story with beautiful music and I'm so honored to be a part of it!"
